Certified and Insured Sports Massage Therapy
With over 12 years of experience and as the Senior Massage Therapist at our local veterinary rehab, Whole Animal Gym, specializing particularly in nervous pets or pets who do not typically tolerate veterinary exams or handling, I offer a flexible and thorough session for your pet.
I primarily work with dogs, horses, and cats, but I have worked with wolves, sheep, mules and other small animals. If you think your pet may benefit from massage, don’t hesitate to reach out.
My formal certification is through Equissage, but in the years since I became certified I have become proficient in numerous modalities and adjacent therapies.
If you have multiple pets, they will all eventually want in on the action (or inaction)!

Virtual Consultation
This service is primarily for small animals (dogs and cats).
If you are not in the service area or do not have access to a bodyworker or veterinary rehab facility, we can set up a virtual consultation to go over what you can do at home for your pet with on call support after our initial consultation.
Consultations are typically an hour and you will leave with a customized program and recommendations for your pet, as well as a list of resources you can use in addition to manual therapies.

tPEMF Therapy
tPEMF (Targeted Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) Therapy is another excellent anti-inflammatory and pain relief product pet parents can safely use at home. This technology is also used in cancer treatment protocols and for non-healing wounds as well as other common conditions like: pancreatitis, conjunctivitis, rhinitis, colitis, etc!
There are many consumer-level PEMF products popping up but the original veterinary PEMF device is the Assisi Loop. I am an approved Assisi Distributor and can offer very competitive pricing on their excellent devices.
I am currently working on digital resources for human caretakers to access on their own to improve their companion animals’ comfort and wellbeing.

Why Massage?
Muscles are with us for our entire lives; they get tired, and when they get tired, they get weak, they get inflamed, and they get painful.
When one area of the body is tight or injured, the rest of the body has to adjust to compensate, and the entire muscle structure gets involved, and gets sore!
So much of the ‘weakness’ of old age is really just accumulated tension and muscle fatigue. Actually quite easy to address, especially if you start before things get critical.
Pets can get so much more quality time if they receive regular bodywork.
Patients who receive massage tend to need less oral pain medication and are able to do more of the things they love, comfortably and confidently.
